An anti-rabies vaccination activity was conducted in Barangay Maguinda, Butuan City, serving 52 clients and vaccinating a total of 105 animals—92 dogs and 13 cats last July 11, 2025. The objective of the activity is to prevent and control the spread of rabies among pet dogs and cats. A single dose of the anti-rabies vaccine can save lives, underscoring the importance of responsible pet ownership. Pet owners are strongly encouraged to have their dogs and cats vaccinated on schedule. Rabies is a deadly yet preventable disease, and vaccination remains the most effective means of protecting both animal and public health.
